We made marshmallow fondant yesterday. It’s usually used as icing on those fancy cakes on the food network channel but it looked interesting to make and to eat as candy. This is definitely not a healthy snack choice but it was fun. Abigail chose purple for her dough and Josiah chose blue for his dough.

It kind of came out like taffy. It never hardened so we pinched off small pieces to eat. It was easy to make. To make it more like candy we used strawberry extract instead of vanilla in our dough. The kids had fun playing with it.
